Membership Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to every membership and add-on purchased at MVS Fitness, Jajpur Road, Odisha. By ticking the box on the joining form, or by paying for a membership at the gym, the member accepts them.

  1. Fees and refunds. Fees are non-refundable once paid, except as stated in terms 13 and 28. All prices are final, including any GST, with no extra charges other than the admission fee below. A one-time admission fee of ₹2,000 applies when joining on a regular Monthly plan (not on renewals or other plans); management may reduce or waive it.
  2. Personal membership. Only the member named on the invoice may use the membership.
  3. Validity. Membership is valid only for the period on the invoice. Unused days don't carry forward and aren't extended, except under terms 4, 5 and 13.
  4. Freeze. Annual plans may be frozen for up to 14 days and Semi-Annual plans for up to 7 days, once per membership term. Quarterly and Monthly plans can't be frozen. Send a written request (WhatsApp or email) at least 2 days before the freeze starts. Validity is extended by the frozen days.
  5. Medical freeze. For illness, injury, surgery or pregnancy, management may allow a freeze of up to 30 days beyond term 4, on a doctor's certificate.
  6. Family transfer. Once per membership term, a member who relocates or has a medical reason may transfer the remaining validity to a spouse, parent, child or sibling, for a fee of ₹999. Founding Member benefits don't transfer.
  7. Upgrades. Within 30 days of the start date, a member may upgrade to a longer plan or from Gold to Platinum by paying the difference between the new plan's current price and the amount already paid. Downgrades aren't allowed.
  8. Price changes. Fees, packages and offers may change. Changes don't affect a paid membership until its renewal.
  9. Founding Membership. Founding Membership is limited to the first 100 members or till 3 December 2026, whichever comes first. The admission fee is waived for Founding Members.
  10. Founding renewal benefit. Founding Annual Members get 40% off the regular Platinum Annual fee for their category (King's or Queen's), at the price current on the renewal date. The renewal must be paid within 7 days after expiry. A later renewal ends this benefit permanently. It can't be combined with coupons, Spin & Win or any other offer, and can't be transferred. Loyalty points can be used on top of it, as in term 15.
  11. Founding Member T-shirt. Each Founding Member receives one MVS Fitness T-shirt, in the size they choose in the member app or on the joining form. T-shirts are handed over from the Founding Member Preview Week; collect yours within 30 days of the opening. A size change after the order is placed depends on stock.
  12. Founding Member Preview Week. From 4 to 10 December 2026, Founding Members get early access for counselling, a body-composition assessment and their diet chart, before the public opening.
  13. Opening date. The grand opening is on 11 December 2026. Validity starts from the opening date, not the payment date. If the gym doesn't open by 31 December 2026, the member may choose a full refund or a validity extension equal to the delay.
  14. Coupons. Coupons and Spin & Win discounts have no cash value. They are for new members only, apply only to the plans and period stated, and can't be exchanged, transferred or combined.
  15. Loyalty points. Members earn points for attendance, referrals, Challenge of the Day results, goals and birthdays, as shown in the member app; points may be deducted for long absences. 1 point = ₹1 off a renewal. Points have no cash value and can't be transferred. At renewal the balance is used at once, up to 40% of the renewal fee (50% for Founding Members); any balance left carries forward. All points lapse if the membership isn't renewed within 7 days after expiry. Points given by mistake or gained by misuse may be removed.
  16. Gym hours and training batches. The gym is open 5–11 AM and 4–9 PM every day; 11 AM–4 PM is kept for group sessions and events. Each member chooses a preferred hourly batch of up to 30 members, which helps trainers plan; members may enter at any time during gym hours. Batches can be changed in the member app when a seat is free.
  17. Add-on services. Personal training, diet consultations, BCA tests and other add-ons are billed separately unless included in the package. PT sessions must be used within their package validity, don't carry forward, can't be transferred and aren't discounted.
  18. Health disclosure. Members exercise at their own risk. They must disclose all medical conditions in the Counselling & Assessment Form and tell staff about any later change (injury, pregnancy, new medication). A doctor's clearance may be required before training.
  19. Age. The minimum age is 14 years. Members under 18 need a parent's or guardian's consent and signature.
  20. Injury. MVS Fitness isn't responsible for injury caused by improper use of equipment or by not following trainer advice.
  21. Conduct. Members must follow gym rules, timings and staff instructions, wear proper gym attire and clean indoor shoes, re-rack weights and wipe equipment after use. Filming other members without consent, smoking, alcohol and prohibited substances aren't allowed on the premises.
  22. Belongings. MVS Fitness isn't responsible for loss of or damage to personal belongings. Lockers are used at the member's own risk.
  23. Equipment damage. Members are liable for damage to equipment caused by misuse.
  24. Suspension. Management may suspend or cancel a membership without refund for misconduct or rule violations.
  25. Personal data and biometrics. To run the membership, MVS Fitness keeps the member's details, photo, face or fingerprint template for door entry, attendance, payments, and health, BCA and diet information. Health information is confidential: only the owner, managers and the member's trainer see it, and it is used without names for in-house research. Data isn't sold or shared with others except where the law requires. Members can see and correct their details in the member app, and can ask the front desk about their data.
  26. Photos and videos. Photos or videos of a member are used on social media or the leaderboard only with their consent. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
  27. Messages and notices. Receipts, reminders and notices are sent on WhatsApp or SMS from the gym's number, and also given on the gym notice board and www.mvsfitness.com.
  28. Closures. Festival and maintenance closures are announced in advance and don't extend validity. If MVS Fitness closes permanently, unused full months are refunded.
  29. Changes to these terms. MVS Fitness may update these terms. The latest version is always on www.mvsfitness.com/terms and applies from the next renewal, when the member is asked to accept it.
  30. Jurisdiction. Any disputes are subject to the courts at Jajpur, Odisha only.
